A Simple Birthday Celebration

Unlike years before this year birthday has been a simple one. 小伙子 went to work at the airport instead of taking a day off. Since he got a late shift, he returned home at late night.

His beloved wife prepared a fabulous and gorgeous birthday cake for 小伙子 and he cut the cake and shared a slice together with his beloved wife.

His wife gave 小伙子 a fancy poloshirt with cheerful summer colors which 小伙子 likes a lot.

Nonetheless, 小伙子 is grateful for everything big or small: like the lovely summer weather today, the birthday cake, the birthday gift, his job. 小伙子 has learned to count his blessings, each day given by the Lord is a gain.

For 小伙子 has learned a new truth in the church at last Sunday's sermon: to smile away his problems... :)
