Overhauling the Garden of Bethel

Due to the heavy storm in mid July one of the tallest tree in our garden capsized and threatened to crush the garden shed. So it leaves no choice to 小伙子 then to cut it down.

As a matter of fact, it by chance fits into 小伙子's plan to redesign the garden. This fallen tree was to be replaced by some new trees which 小伙子 wants to plant. 小伙子 and his beloved wife are still thinking about what sort of trees they want to plant at that spot.

Initially, 小伙子 thinks of tall green bamboo trees just like those seen in Arashiyama in Kyoto. They may be handy in fencing off the street side and absorbing the noises from the street.

But now 小伙子 believes it makes more sense to have some fruit trees like the apple tree, pear or apricot tree. Just any tree that brings forth food to eat.

The next step is to replace the lawn by a new one with pure green grass. However, the weather is not helping as it rains almost once in two days now, so that the soil

cannot get dry once the old lawn is removed.

As yet work can't be continued due to the ongoing bad weather.
