Be Vigilant

This evening around half past six 小伙子 has just finished doing the front garden. When he wanted to enter home again through the front door two youngsters of around 12 to 14 years old walked by. 小伙子 turned his face to look who came along and saw those two teenagers. One was kinda hindustan, antillian or maroccan, the second was just a dutch guy. When 小伙子 shut the door behind him and entered the living room, he heard a big blow in the back garden. It turned out that a bottle of ice tea had been thrown into our garden. 小伙子 heard the boys laughing and running away. When 小伙子 went outside he saw another bottle of ice tea was thrown onto the pavement of the pedestrian. He tried to go after those culprits but they were not seen. 小伙子 thinks they are either hiding in one of the houses just in the row next to us, or they have already fled to streets further down. Since the faces of those kids appeared to be unknown to 小伙子 it might just happen that those young vandals came along and felt like to bully 小伙子。 Then it daunted on him those sharing from our pastor last Sunday: "Be Vigilant" for the evil one is keen to intimidate and devour us, the childrenn of God. So 小伙子 believes that it was an attack by the devil to steal 小伙子's peeace and joy, while just as 小伙子 was enjoying their new garden. Therefore, 小伙子 knows that he must be sober and vigilant in order to counter any unexpected attack by the evil one. May the Lord Jesus protects 小伙子 and his beloved wife. AMEN
